Why not MS Word

Pasted pictures stay crooked.

A tilted photo stays tilted, and sized by eye it isn't true size.

By handCrop, rotate, resize, guess

A guessed size, printed at whatever scale.

With the toolCorners found, size exact

Perspective corrected, centered on A4.

Which card

Every CNIC copies the same way.

NADRA issues it "under Section 9 & 10 of NADRA Ordinance, 2000" to citizens of 18 and over: the Teslin card, the Smart CNIC "with a secure microchip", and the CNIC with a QR code.1

Smart CNICWith a chip

No flash; tilt off reflections.

With QR codeKeep the code sharp

It's there "to facilitate faster verification".1 Don't cover it.

Its size

Measure your card.

NADRA's page gives no size, so neither do we.

Measure your CNIC. At 85.60 × 53.98 mm (ID-1)2 the default fits; otherwise choose Custom size.

New card? NADRA's PakID app handles registration; biometrics may need a centre visit.1
